Geelong West Re-Roofing Project

True Blue Roofing Pty Ltd have recently completed this roof replacement (re-roof) for a beautiful cottage in Geelong West.  Geelong West is a residential and commercial suburb of Geelong.  Many of the period Timber homes and cottages such as this one are being restored in the Geelong West area due to the popularity of the area.  It is a great area due to the accessibility to some of the areas best schools, the close proximity to the ever popular Pakington Street and good access to public transport.

True Blue Roofing Pty Ltd removed the original, rusty old iron from the cottage, then repaired and re-fixed existing battens to the rafters to ensure the new roof had a good base to be laid on.  True Blue Roofing Pty Ltd employ qualified carpenters to ensure all timber work is completed to a high standard.  We then installed a shiny new Zincalume® Corrugated iron roof for the main roof of the cottage.  There was also a flat section of roof that was replaced with Zincalume® Trimclad iron.

Note: Different profiles are used in the installation of roofing due to the degree of pitch in the roof design.

True Blue Roofing also installed Zincalume® Ridges / Valleys / Flashings / Apron / box gutter and rain water head.  The client chose the Ogee guttering to be installed and PVC round downpipes.  We arranged for the supply and install of guardrails, to ensure the work was completed safely and efficiently.
