Roofing Service for Architecturally Designed Anglesea Residence

This Architecturally designed Anglesea residence is perched overlooking native bushland.  Anglesea is located 10 minutes West of Torquay on the Great Ocean Road in the Surf Coast Shire, Victoria.

True Blue Roofing had great pleasure in completing the new roofing and metal wall cladding on this new home perched high on a embankment bordering the bush in Anglesea.  The project features horizontal metal wall cladding in Colorbond Steel: Colour “Monument” corrugated iron (custom orb) profile with custom flashings surrounding the intricate detailing of the entrance, garage and windows.  The new roof was also Colorbond Steel: Colour “Monument” corrugated iron (custom orb) profile.

The corrugated iron (also referred to as custom orb in some steel brands) profile is equally at home with traditional and contemporary design. It is a long, wide, strong, lightweight and economical profile which can be quickly and easily aligned. It is these combined features that mean you can have a steel roof or wall cladding that offers outstanding value.  The benefits of using corrugated iron for both roofing and wall cladding applications include the following:

  • It is available in a wide variety of COLORBOND® steel colours
  • Roof sheet lengths of up to 24m can be used before an expansion joint is required
  • Can be laid flat or sprung curved for increased versatility

This Anglesea project also involved installing box gutters and PVC downpipes.

Due to the location of this build which was on a steep embankment, it posed the initial challenge to actually access the ground from which the wall cladding needed to be installed from.  To overcome this challenge, True Blue Roofing installed a custom designed scaffold system to ensure the job was completed safely and efficiently by our staff.
